In a most pleasant surprise last week Woodend teenager Lockie Marshall discovered that he had been nominated in the Alternative Sport category of the Macedon Ranges Shire Youth Awards for 2012. In recognition of Lockies success in his motorsport activities he was judged as the winner in the category that included many high standard nominees. Lockie was delighted to receive his award at a presentation evening that showcased the achievements of many of the young individuals and youth cultural and sporting groups from across the shire. Lockie was especially pleased to receive his award given he has several very supportive local sponsors including Kyneton Toyota, Autopro Kyneton, Kyneton Bridgestone and Unique Marine and RV Accessories in Woodend.
